The Epicure No.3 is the fourth cigar from Hoyo de Monterrey to bear the 'Epicure' name, joining the No.1, No.2, and Especial. It is also the first figure to join the brand's classic range in modern times.
Appropriately known as an 'Original' in the Cuban cigar factories, this size is entirely unique within the Habanos portfolio. It measures 4 7/8″ (125mm) x 54 ring gauge and is available in SLB boxes of 25 and 10 cigars.
The wide ring gauge of the Epicure No.3 allows for the full expression of the blend and is a fine example of the Hoyo profile and taste. The tapered head produces a concentrated smoke that delivers a rich and layered smoke on the palate.
The classic Hoyo de Monterrey line is typified by a delicate, cedar taste that remains light enough for inexperienced smokers, while offering enough elegance and layering of flavors to keep aficionados satisfied.
Like all Hoyo de Monterrey from Habanos, the No.3 is hand rolled using tobaccos harvested from Vuelta Abajo in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba, widely regarded as the finest tobacco growing region in the world.
